The Ainsworth^® family founded the company in 1952 with a single portable sawmill. Today, Ainsworth is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of oriented strand board (OSB), producing more than 3 million cubic meters annually. The company employs 1800 people and operates eight modern facilities in Canada and the U.S.

Ainsworth also produces premium quality concrete form plywood, used primarily for concrete forming in high-rise and residential construction, sports complexes and highway infrastructure.

Ainsworth is focusing increasingly on value-added products engineered to satisfy demands of quality-conscious customers in varied markets.
