West Chilcotin Forest Products Ltd.

West Chilcotin’s lumber manufacturing plant is situated in the Central Interior of British Columbia, at Anahim Lake. The local community is reflected in the ownership group which consists of local investors, the Ulkatcho native Indian Band, and Carrier Lumber Ltd., each owning one third of the company.

The sawmill/planermill complex produces 135,000 cubic meters annually of SPF dimension lumber precision trimmed stud lumber products. The wood fibre is relatively slow growing due to the high elevation of the forest base, and consists of 85% Lodgepole Pine, resulting in a stable, high quality product appreciated worldwide.
