Metric Lumber

Our metric lumber is produced from 100% Lodgepole Pine (LPP). The products are kiln-dried to between 10% to 18% moisture content as required and can be provided in rough or planed surfaces.

We manufacture a variety of products utilizing 4 molders, a multi-saw PET line, a lineal optimized chop line and a finger-joined line. Products such as S4S lamstock, panelling, T&G decking, finger-joined fascia and studs utilizing PVA (white) glue and small precision housing components are surfaced with molders to meet stringent tolerances and a high quality finish.

KD Rough Sizes:

Thickness: Standard invoice thickness is 25, 32, 40 and 63mm. Actual produced thickness is between 0.5mm and 1.5mm thicker than invoice size.

Width: Invoice width is from 75mm to 200mm. Actual produced width is between 1.0mm and 1.5mm wider than invoice width.

KD S4S Sizes:

Standard board (19mm thick) and dimension (38mm thick) sizes are available as well as metric size that can produced from Sundance’s KD rough profile.

Grades:

Custom designed grades are produced according to customer requirements and end use. These include laminating, remanufacturing, house construction, interior finishing products, furniture and other joinery products.
